Animation Notations
Timesheets and timecharts are among the most important steps in Japanese animation. Without them, there is no animation at all. Understanding animation notations is essential to make the process clear and consistent, from the initial ichigen stage all the way to compositing.
This page serves as a glossary for timesheet and timechart notations. If you want to learn the basics of how to fill in a timesheet, please refer to the dedicated Timesheet page.
